is a later Mark VI tenor in excellent, original shape. The body is in
great condition with just a little evidence of dent work done on the
side of the bottom bow and a few small areas of the bodytube. The
lacquer is near intact and even the pearls still retain their original
sharp edges. Clearly a horn that has not seen much use.
We did a repad and used cone-shaped plastic resonators. All keywork is
nice and light and the horn really "flies" under your fingers. The
sound is medium-bright and relatively focused. The tonal response is
super quick and the smooth scale is even from top to bottom. It's a fun
horn to play in unusually good original condition!
