It is unusual that we have Mark VI tenors, fully overhauled, available for under the $5,000 mark - Here is a serial no. 210,xxx tenor with a new Blue Ridge Horns overhaul and in top playing condition.

The horn was relacquered at some point and you can detect some minor dent work done on the body. A neck pull down has also been addressed.

The horn is set up with metal resonators and is very well dialed-in. The action is smooth and even and there is no sloppiness in the mechanics.

The horn is very quick responding with the typical slender "singing" quality of the later Mark VIses. Ever so slightly on the brighter side of neutral, the tonal color is very well balanced.

A smooth Mark VI with a solid setup that should last for many years!
